In celebration of Christmas, the Gateway Apartments Volunteer Team has partnered with The Salvation Army’s Hoi Lam Centre for Senior Citizens to conduct home visits for the elderly. Volunteers delivered festive greetings personally to each doorstep. The team prepared 100 Christmas gift bags for this initiative, aiming to provide genuine care and spread warmth to local seniors during the winter season.

During the visits, volunteers engaged in meaningful conversations to better understand the daily lives and needs of the seniors. By hand-delivering the thoughtfully curated gift packs, the team sought to foster a sense of companionship and genuine care. These one-on-one interactions ensured that the elderly could experience the joy of the holiday season within the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.
